So Adam had to be at work at 5:30 this morning, with doughnuts. To avoid taking both our cars out yesterday, and to insure he would actually get up at the ass-crack of dawn, I volunteered to drive and drop him off at work.
I HATE WHAT AMERICA HAS DONE TO CHRISTMAS!!!! There is absolutely NO good reason for getting up and going shopping at 4AM, and certainly no reason to drive like a FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!
I'm not a particularly religious person, but it really gets me how commercialized everything has become. What happened to Christmas being about spending time with your family? What happened to being happy that you got presents, and why do kids get so bent out of shape with what they receive???
Meh... so I made it to work by 6:45, and would you believe there were already 2 other people here? Crazies....
