We got back home around 11:30 last night, to find the power out YET AGAIN! The landlord didn't call us back until this morning at 9, and left a message with more excuses and is trying to blame this on Duke Energy. (Yeah right- if it's their problem, then how are we the only unit in the building w/o power...??)
So now I'm doing a little research on renter's rights and what to do in order to pay rent to the Clerk of Courts rather than the landlord. I sent some documents to print about 2 hours ago, but someone in the real estate department has been tying up the printer ALL day, so maybe, just maybe, I'll have the papers by the time I leave work today.
I know this is not a life or death situation, and that things could be a lot worse, but this is SO frustrating. I cannot handle incompetent people.
