So I have a theory on the previously mentioned news article.
When you google the guys name (Wouter S. Pauw), it comes up with a link to the Campbell County Detention Center. The link doesn't actually work, but the little blurb says "booking date: 4/23/2008." So he was literally just arrested days prior to this. It doesn't say the crime, but my guess is that he didn't want to go to trial for whatever, and when he got out on bond, he decided to commit suicide. Maybe? I don't know.
I'm still thoroughly disturbed by that whole situation.

Actually, Wouter was a friend of mine from college and had been going through a very trying time in his life.
He asked his parents to pull over because he thought he was going to be sick. When the car stopped, he ran into traffic.
I hope that he has found peace at last.
Wouter was a friend of mine too, I've known him since high school.
As far as I know the driver of the car was not hurt, thank goodness.
What Michael said is true and I, too, hope he found his peace at last.
All I went to Xavier with Wouter he was a great guy and friend of mine. I have not seen him in probably 5 years. I am very sad to hear this and wish I would of keep in touch with him.
I just found out about this a couple days ago. I can't tell you how upset I am to hear this news.
I lost contact with Wouter a few years ago due to job demands, and had hoped to meet up with him again soon. Now that I know I'll never see him again, it is quite upsetting.
If anyone out there reads this, could you tell me what kind of difficulties Wouter was having that could have led to this? I'm trying to make sense of this and have some kind of closure. Things will never be the same without him here.
My e-mail is snowstormgb@hotmail.com
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
